I've been playing with the CRBN¹ Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle — Elongated 14mm for a few weeks now. The raw carbon face gives good grip for spin, and the 14mm core keeps dinks soft and controllable around the kitchen. The elongated shape with a 16.5" length and 7.5" width adds reach without feeling unwieldy, and the 4.25" handle fits my hand well. At around 7.95 oz it feels balanced enough for both drives and resets. It's more of a control paddle than a power monster, which suits my game. Solid build so far, and the 1 year warranty is reassuring.
