The RPM Friction Pro pickleball paddles reimagine everything you can do on the court, fueling your game with effortless power, groundbreaking speed, and unrivalled spin. Co-designed and built by James Ignatowich, a top 10 world-ranked professional pickleball player, the RPM Friction Pro line offers explosive power and surgical precision for professional play. RPM LABS has combined its CarbonBite Surface, DwellZone Sweet-Spot, and its Tri-Density Core technologies to engineer revolutionary performance.
The Friction Pro’s Widebody shape guarantees a larger sweet spot, enhancing pop and forgiveness on off-balanced mishits. It offers supreme control and maneuverability in the air, enhancing hand speed and volleys—perfect for doubles specialists. This shape also offers our lowest swing weights, resulting in a lighter feel and increased responsiveness for firefights at the kitchen line. With a thicker 16MM core, this high-performance paddle delivers increased stability and plush shock absorption, prioritizing ball-shaping on the court. The Friction Pro 16MM Widebody paddle is designed for players prioritizing sweet-spot size, maneuverability, control, and stability.
“Several professional players think this is our best paddle for doubles. If you’re someone who loves singles, you may miss out on the extra reach you get from the elongated shape. With that being said, the widebody is second to none on the doubles court with our best combination of sweet spot, power, and maneuverability.” - James Ignatowich
