I picked up the Engage Pursuit Pro1 Widebody after wanting more defense without giving up power, and it delivers. The 16mm core gives a soft, controlled feel on dinks and resets, while the wide 8" face and 16" length give me a bigger sweet spot for blocking drives. The 4.25" handle circumference and 4.75" handle length fit my hand well for two-handed backhands. At 8.1 oz it feels solid but still quick at the net. The limited lifetime warranty is a nice bonus. Great all-around paddle for players who want power with defensive capability.
